ROBERT E. BOYD, Founder and President
Bob Boyd is the Founder and President of Boston Street Advisors. Mr. Boyd has over twenty-five years experience
in the fields of capital formation, international finance, and investment banking. Prior to forming his
own firm, he held positions as Chief Financial Officer - Treasurer and Manager of Treasury in
the manufacturing sector and senior financial analyst for a major international energy company. Mr. Boyd's
international experience includes engagements in Europe, Asia, Canada, South America, and the Middle East.
He is also the founder of Boston Street Capital, a private equity investment firm, and a co-founder and Managing Member
of Boston Street Capital Partners, LLC, a capital management company.
Mr. Boyd has been involved in over 20 start-up ventures and has successfully negotiated several business transactions including the planning and restructuring
of over $500 million of corporate debt for a major multi-national energy concern, and has served as exclusive
financial advisor for the financing and sale of several mid market companies across a variety of industries.
He has also played key roles in establishing a sales and distribution office in Germany and has advised major
energy and service companies in the areas of shareholder value and performance measurement. Since founding
his own firm, Mr. Boyd has advised management and shareholders on capital acquisition, business development,
transaction structuring, valuation services and strategic business planning for mid market companies.
He currently serves on the National Advisory Council of the U. S. Small Business Administration and is a member of the board of directors of
CapRock Oil Tools, Commonwealth Chartered Trust and Logistics Master. Mr. Boyd founded the Wharton Investment Resource Exchange of the
Wharton Club of New York and is a member of Wharton Private Equity Partners. He is Chairman of the Jimmie L. Dean Scholarship
Foundation, and serves as a member of the University of Tulsa Graduate Business Programs Alumni Council and the board of directors of Inverness Village
and the John Starks Foundation. Mr. Boyd has served on several community and civic boards including the Tulsa Economic Development Commission,
Tulsa University Friends of Finance, and the University of Tulsa Student Investment Fund. He is past president of the Graduate Business Association
of the University of Tulsa. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Mr. Boyd holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Phillips University with majors
in Finance and Accounting and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Tulsa,
graduating with honors. He graduated from the Wharton Advanced Management Program of the Wharton
School of The University of Pennsylvania and is a Fellow of the Wharton School. Mr. Boyd is a member of
Beta Gamma Sigma, the honor society for collegiate business schools and is a Certified Public Accountant
in the state of Oklahoma.
MARK FARRIS, Director of Technology Investments
Mark Farris is the Director of Technology Investments and a co-founder
of Farris Technology Solutions, LLC. He has over 18 years
of experience in systems development and business process solutions.
Prior to joining the firm he was Manager of Business Systems Development
for Thales Navigation, a division of the multi-national French company
Thales, where he managed their worldwide development team. The
development team provided solutions for Thales Navigation locations in
the United States, France, United Kingdom, China and Moscow. He also
managed offshore development resources with software partners in India.
Prior to his work at Thales he was Senior software developer and Manager
of Software Services for Lowrance Electronics in Tulsa Oklahoma. While
at Lowrance, Mark implemented ERP and Financial based systems worldwide
including locations in Mexico, Germany, Australia and Canada. He also
worked for the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology as Systems
Manager, Network Manager, Senior Developer while serving as an academic
instructor in their college of business administration.
Mark holds a Bachelor's of Science in Computer Science with minors in
Finance and Accounting from the University of Central Oklahoma where he
graduated with honors. He also maintains certificates in System
Management, Network design, Network implementation and Database design
from Hewlett Packard and is a certified developer with Cognos products.
TONY O'CONNOR, Senior Associate
Tony O'Connor is a senior associate at Boston Street Advisors. Tony's
responsibilities include financial modeling and analysis and identifying
and analyzing industry trends. Prior to joining the firm he was a
senior accountant for Williams Energy in Tulsa where he provided crude
oil and refined products accounting services for Energy Marketing and
Trading (EM&T). Before joining Williams Tony was a business analyst for
PriceWaterHouseCoopers/BP Amoco in the Amoco Supply and Trading Group.
At PWC he was responsible for preparing monthly, quarterly and year-end
financial reports, developing cash forecasts, and analysis of financial data.
Tony is an instructor of Accounting and Economics at Tulsa Community College
in Tulsa.
Tony received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Accounting
from the University of Arkansas where he graduated Magna cum Laude and holds a
Master of Business Administration from The University of Tulsa. He is a
Certified Public Accountant in the state of Oklahoma.
